In 2024, through the course “Tools to Explore Biases and Stereotypes in AI (HESEIA)” offered by Vía Libre, the Ministry of Education, and FAMAF – UNC, we reached 5,000 high school students across various localities in Córdoba, Argentina.
In the video (you can enable subtitles in English), some teachers share their experiences of how they implemented this practice in their classrooms. Each story is unique, and it was impossible to feature all the educators who participated in the course. It wasn’t easy to choose, but we’ve highlighted a few experiences that delve into the critical use of artificial intelligence, the EDIA software tool, and key takeaways. We hope you enjoy it!
This extension course, “Tools to Explore Biases and Stereotypes in Artificial Intelligence in the Classroom” (RCD 205/2024 – FAMAF), ran from June to October 2024. It was made possible thanks to the support of #DataFutureLab by Mozilla, the FAIR network, the Data Empowerment Fund, and our recent partnership with Google Academic Research Awards.
