Luciana Benotti from Vía Libre’s AI ethics team will participate on Thursday, October 12, within the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) under the motto: “Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Emerging Technologies. GPT Chat, Generative AI and Machine Learning.”
The Internet Governance Forum (IGF) aims to unite and discuss public policy issues related to the Internet. The IGF facilitates a common understanding of how to maximize the opportunities of the Internet and address the risks and challenges that arise.
Under the 90-minute round table format, the topic will be discussed where different actors from different parts of the world will present, with some common questions: How will the AI be trained to recognize and desexualize the content, and what security measures could be implemented? establish to ensure that algorithms are not biased or discriminatory? What measures are needed to protect freedom of expression and prevent censorship? How will search engines ensure that desexualizing content does not inadvertently perpetuate harmful gender stereotypes or reinforce existing power imbalances?
