Argentina-United States Workshop on Digital Policy

On Wednesday and Thursday, June 28 and 29, the workshop “Dialogue on Digital Policy: Data Governance and Privacy, Cross-Border Data Flows, and Artificial Intelligence (AI)” will take place in Buenos Aires. This workshop is co-organized by the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Commerce, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade, and Worship of Argentina. Over the course of a two-day event consisting of five modules, government officials will come together with industry, academia, and civil society to exchange knowledge and experiences regarding national priorities in digital policies, as well as emerging regulatory and normative frameworks. On the morning of June 29, Beatriz Busaniche from Fundación Vía Libre will deliver a presentation in Module 3 titled: “Knowledge Exchange Between Government, Civil Society, and Academia – Data Privacy Regulatory Frameworks and AI Governance Standards.”
