Beatriz Busaniche will take part in the Global Dialogue on AI Governance organised by the UN on 6 and 7 July in Geneva, Switzerland. Established under the Global Digital Compact and created by the UN General Assembly, the AI Dialogue is the United Nations’ platform where all governments and stakeholders will come together to discuss international cooperation, share best practices and lessons learnt, and facilitate open, transparent and inclusive discussions on the governance of artificial intelligence. For the first time, every country has a seat at the AI table to hold the meaningful conversation the world needs.
About the Global Dialogue on AI Governance
The Global Digital Compact (A/RES/79/1), adopted at the 2024 Future Summit, set out a shared vision for an open, secure and inclusive digital future. Among its commitments was the creation of the Global Dialogue on AI Governance, intended to serve as an inclusive space within the United Nations for governments and stakeholders to deliberate on the most pressing challenges facing AI today.
