From October 20 to 24, 2025, Sofía Martinelli, Pietro Palombini, and Guido Ivetta, from Fundación Vía Libre, will take part in the First Spring School on Deep Learning, held at the Institute of Computer Science (CONICET–UBA) with the support of the Department of Computer Science and the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires.
The school is aimed at advanced undergraduate and graduate students in fields related to applied mathematics, machine learning, and data science. Participants will be selected based on their background, motivation, and potential to benefit from the program.
Throughout the week, tutorials and lectures will be led by experts in artificial intelligence, covering topics such as machine learning system evaluation, natural language processing and large language models, diffusion models, optimization, optimal transport, inverse problems, computational neuroscience, and methods for quantifying uncertainty.
