On April 22 at 1:00 PM (Mexico time), Luciana Benotti will give the seminar “Bias and Calibration in Multimodal Language Models,” invited by researcher Helen Pymar as part of the Master’s Program in Computer Science and Engineering at UNAM.
Did you know that artificial intelligence models can reinforce stereotypes without us even noticing? This seminar offers a critical and necessary perspective. Calibration techniques can help identify model uncertainties and reveal how biases can be introduced precisely through those areas.
