This April 21 at 4:30 p.m. (Mexico time), Luciana Benotti and María Emilia Echeveste will be giving the workshop “Sociocultural Evaluation of Artificial Intelligence” at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), invited by Helena Gómez Adorno.
The activity is part of the Master’s Program in Computer Science and Engineering at UNAM.
On this occasion, they will share the practice developed in March during Khipu 2024, focused on a critical and situated perspective on the sociotechnical impacts of AI systems. The workshop takes place while the Somos NLP Hackathon challenge is still ongoing, in which both researchers are actively participating.
💡 If you haven’t joined yet, you can contribute by helping validate stereotypes in language models through the development of a Stereotype Validator.
